This summer we are looking for the best photos of you enjoying the South Downs National Park with your four-legged friends.
With rolling hills, lush woodland and crystal clear rivers, the South Downs National Park is the perfect place to walk your dog. From 9-31 August we’re running a photo competition to find the best photo of people exploring the South Downs and enjoying the views with their furry friends.
To enter, simply post a photograph of you enjoying summer in the South Downs National Park with a your dog on the lead. Make sure you’re also following the four key responsible dog owner messages from our Take the Lead campaign:
- Put your dog on a lead when walking near or approaching livestock
- Always bag and bin your poo and help other dog walkers to do the same
- Stick to the paths during ground nesting bird season (1 March – 15 September)
- Stay out of ministry of defence danger areas when the red flags are up
Post your photos on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #TakeTheLead and #SouthDowns. You can post/enter as many photos as you would like!
One overall winner and two runners up will be chosen in September and win the following prizes:
The overall winner will be awarded the first prize – 1x 12kg Arden Grange dog food, 1x Arden Grange partners dog food, 1x crunchy bites dog treats, 1x tasty liver treats, 1x branded Arden Grange shopping bag.
