Prizes and judging

Shortlisting will take place following the close of nominations.

A shortlist of five will be chosen and put to a public vote.

The tree with the highest number of votes following the public vote will be declared the winner.

The winning individual or community will then be offered 10 trees to plant in their community.

The trees offered will be selected by our experts as the right tree/trees for that area.

Trees are to be planted in a community space or an area where they can be accessed and enjoyed by the public.

The winning individual or community group will be responsible for finding a suitable location with landowner permission for the planting of trees.

The prize is non-transferable.
