Secrets of the High Woods Revealed: A celebratory Conference
September 16, 2016
On Friday 23 September the Secrets of the High Woods project findings will be revealed with a conference at the South Downs Centre in Midhurst.
The project has used LiDAR mapping, oral histories, archival research and archaeological excavations to discover the hidden archaeology hidden beneath the landscape of the South Downs.
There will be talks from Historic England, the project team, Cotswold Archaeology and the volunteers who worked on the project. The conference will run from 9.15am to 4.15pm followed by a drinks reception from 4:30 to 6pm, with music from the University of Chichester’s Chamber Orchestra in the gardens.
The conference is free but you must book by 12pm Wednesday 21 September and the tickets are first come first served.
