Public Consultation: Kingston Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan

The South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) has prepared a new Character Appraisal and Management Plan for Kingston Conservation Area.

These documents periodically review the continued need and purpose of conservation area designation, are recommended in Government guidance and have proved useful tools for effective development management.

Kingston Conservation Area has been designated since 1972 and was last reviewed in 2007.

A consultation draft is available for eight weeks and we look forward to receiving your comments on it by Monday 23rd August 2021. Comments can be sent by email to historic.buildings@southdowns.gov.uk

or in writing to The South Downs Centre, North Street, Midhurst GU29 9DH and marked for the attention of the Conservation Officer

The final draft will be reviewed to reflect public responses, which will be reported to the SDNPA Planning Committee when it is asked to consider adoption of the document.
