Ringmer Neighbourhood Plan
Ringmer Parish Council (RPC) has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for Ringmer. Further details are available on the Ringmer Parish Council website.
The following stages and documents have been completed:

| Plan “Made” (Adopted) | The Ringmer NDP – i.e., the Submission Plan incorporating the Examiner’s modifications and all other modifications as per the Decision Statement – complies with the legal requirements and basic conditions set out in the Localism Act 2011 and, as a result on the SDNPA resolution on 21 January 2016, has been made.
The Ringmer NDP is part of the Development Plan for the South Downs National Park area of the parish as defined by the Neighbourhood Area designated on 12 September 2013. The Ringmer NDP can be viewed at the following locations:

| Referendum | A referendum was held on the Ringmer NDP on 12 November 2015. Further information on the referendum is available on the Lewes District Council Referendum page.
There was a 42% turnout, with the following results:

| Decision Statement | Lewes District Council (LDC) agreed the Decision Statement for the Ringmer NDP on 18 September 2015. This sets out the modifications that were made to the Ringmer NDP prior to referendum. |
| Independent Examination | Lewes District Council (LDC) appointed Mr Nigel McGurk as the Independent Examiner of the Ringmer Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP). The Examiner published their final report in December 2014. |
| Regulation 16 – Submission Consultation | Lewes District Council (LDC) published the Submission Ringmer Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for consultation between 22 September and 03 November 2014. The Submission Ringmer NDP and its evidence base and submission documents are available on the Lewes District Council website.

| Regulation 14 – Pre-Submission Consultation | Ringmer Parish Council (RPC) carried out a pre-submission consultation on the Draft Ringmer Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) between 06 September and 18 October 2013. |
| Designated Neighbourhood Area | A consultation on an application to designate the Ringmer Neighbourhood Area was carried out between 18 June and 03 August 2012. The SDNPA designated the part of the Ringmer Neighbourhood Area that is within the National Park on 12 September 2013. |
