Plumpton Neighbourhood Plan
Plumpton Parish Council (PPC) has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for Plumpton. Further details are available on the Plumpton Parish Council website.

| Plan “Made” (Adopted) | The Plumpton NDP – i.e., the Submission Plan incorporating the Examiner’s modifications and all other modifications as per the Decision Statement – complies with the legal requirements and basic conditions set out in the Localism Act 2011 and, as a result on the the SDNPA resolution on 12 April 2018 has been made.
The Plumpton NDP is part of the Development Plan for the South Downs National Park area of the parish as defined by the Neighbourhood Area designated on 28 April 2014. The Plumpton NDP can be viewed at the following locations:

| Referendum |
A referendum was held on the Plumpton NDP on 08 March 2018. Further information on the referendum is available on the Lewes District Council website. There was a 47% turnout, with the following results:

| Decision Statement | Lewes District Council (LDC) agreed the Decision Statement for the Plumpton NDP on 29 January 2018. This sets out the modifications that were made to the Plumpton NDP prior to referendum. |
| Independent Examination | Lewes District Council (LDC) appointed Mr Nigel McGurk as the Independent Examiner of the Plumpton Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP). The Examiner published their final report in January 2018. |
| Regulation 16 – Submission Consultation | Lewes District Council (LDC) published the Submission Plumpton Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for consultation between 05 October and 22 November 2017. The Submission Plumpton NDP is available below and its evidence base and submission documents are available on the Lewes District Council website. |
| Regulation 14 – Pre-Submission Consultations | Plumpton Parish Council (PPC) carried out two pre-submission consultations on the Draft Plumpton Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) between 09 May and 28 June 2016, and between 16 June and 31 July 2017.

| Designated Neighbourhood Area | A consultation on an application to designate the Plumpton Neighbourhood Area was carried out between 28 February and 11 April 2014. The SDNPA designated the part of the Plumpton Neighbourhood Area that is within the National Park on 28 April 2014. |
