| Withdrawal | Plaistow and Ifold Parish Council (PIPC) requested in February 2022 that the Submission Plaistow and Ifold NDP be withdrawn as a result of the Revised Habitats Regulation Assessment (HRA) Screening Matrix and Appropriate Assessment Statement. |
| Independent Examination | Chichester District Council (CDC) appointed Ms Janet Cheesley as the Independent Examiner of the Plaistow and Ifold Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP). The Examiner suspended the Examination in April 2021 to allow the council to undertake a further Habitats Regulation Assessment (HRA) Screening Matrix and Appropriate Assessment Statement in light of the issue raised by Natural England in relation to development in the Sussex North Water Supply Zone. |
| Regulation 16 – Submission Consultation | Chichester District Council (CDC) published the Submission Plaistow and Ifold Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for consultation between 27 February and 30 April 2020. Due to the impact of Covid-19 restrictions, the consultation was repeated in September-October 2020. The Submission Plaistow and Ifold NDP and its evidence base and submission documents are available on the Chichester District Council website. |
| Regulation 14 – Pre-Submission Consultation | Plaistow and Ifold Parish Council (PIPC) carried out a pre-submission consultation on the Draft Plaistow and Ifold Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) between 08 September and 20 October 2017. |
| Designated Neighbourhood Area | A consultation on an application to designate the Plaistow and Ifold Neighbourhood Area was carried out between 07 September and 19 October 2012. The SDNPA designated the part of the Plaistow and Ifold Neighbourhood Area that is within the National Park on 14 March 2013. |
