Lyminster and Crossbush Neighbourhood Plan
Lyminster and Crossbush Parish Council (LCPC) has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for Lyminster and Crossbush. Further details are available on the Lyminster and Crossbush Parish Council website.

| Plan “Made” (Adoption) | The Lyminster and Crossbush NDP – i.e., the Submission Plan incorporating the Examiner’s modifications and all modifications as per the Decision Statement – complies with the legal requirements and basic conditions set out in the Localism Act 2011 and, as a result of the SDNPA resolution on 10 November 2022, has been made.
The Lyminster and Crossbush NDP is part of the Development Plan for the South Downs National Park area of the parish as defined by the Neighbourhood Area designated on 03 January 2019. The Lyminster and Crossbush NDP can be viewed at the following locations:

| Referendum |
A referendum was held on the Lyminster and Crossbush NDP on 11 October 2022. Further information on the referendum is available on the Arun District Council website. There was a 39% turnout, with the following results:

| Decision Statement | Arun District Council (ADC) agreed the Decision Statement for the Lyminster and Crossbush NDP in August 2022. This sets out the modifications that were made to the Lyminster and Crossbush NDP prior to referendum. |
| Independent Examination |
Arun District Council (ADC) appointed Mr Christopher Lockhart-Mummery QC as the Independent Examiner of the Lyminster and Crossbush Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP). The Examiner published their final report July 2022. |
| Regulation 16 – Submission Consultation | Arun District Council (ADC) published the Submission Lyminster and Crossbush Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for consultation between 02 May and 01 July 2022. The Submission Lyminster and Crossbush NDP is available below and its evidence base and submission documents are available on the Arun District Council website. |
| Regulation 14 – Pre-Submission Consultation | Lyminster and Crossbush Parish Council (LCPC) carried out a pre-submission consultation on the Draft Lyminster and Crossbush Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) between 27 September and 19 November 2021. |
| Designated Neighbourhood Area | The SDNPA designated the part of the Lyminster and Crossbush Neighbourhood Area that is within the National Park on 03 January 2019 following an application from Lyminster and Crossbush Parish Council. |
