East Meon Neighbourhood Plan
East Meon Parish Council (EMPC) has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for East Meon. Further details are available on the East Meon Parish Council website

| Plan “Made” (Adoption) | The East Meon NDP – i.e., the Submission Plan incorporating the Examiner’s modifications and all other modifications as per the Decision Statement – complies with the legal requirements and basic conditions set out in the Localism Act 2011 and, as a result of the SDNPA resolution on 14 December 2017, has been made.
The East Meon NDP is part of the Development Plan for the parish as defined by the Neighbourhood Area designated on 14 August 2014. The East Meon NDP can be viewed at the following location:

| Referendum |
A referendum was held on the East Meon NDP on 09 November 2017. Further information on the referendum is available on the East Hampshire District Council website. There was a 37% turnout, with the following result:

| Decision Statement | The SDNPA agreed the Decision Statement for the East Meon NDP on 14 September 2017. This sets out the modifications that were made to the East Meon NDP prior to referendum. |
| Independent Examination | The SDNPA appointed Mr John Slater MRTPI as the Independent Examiner of the East Meon Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP). The Examiner published their final report in August 2017. |
| Regulation 16 – Submission consultation |
The SDNPA received the Submission East Meon Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) on 18 January 2017. The SDNPA later published the Submission East Meon NDP for consultation between 27 January and 10 March 2017. The Submission East Meon NDP is available below. | Regulation 14 – Pre-submission consultation | East Meon Parish Council (EMPC) carried out a pre-submission consultation on the Draft East Meon Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) between 14 May and 25 June 2016.

| Designated Neighbourhood Area | A consultation on an application to designate the East Meon Neighbourhood Area was carried out between 16 June and 28 July 2014. The SDNPA designated the East Meon Neighbourhood Area on 14 August 2014. |
