Boxgrove Neighbourhood Plan
Boxgrove Parish Council (BPC) has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for Boxgrove. Further details are available on the Boxgrove Parish Council website.

| Plan “Made” (Adoption) | The Boxgrove NDP – i.e., the Submission Plan incorporating the Examiner’s modifications and all other modifications as per the Decision Statement – complies with the legal requirements and basic conditions set out in the Localism Act 2011 and, as a result of the a SDNPA resolution on 10 June 2021, has been made.
The Boxgrove NDP is part of the Development Plan for the South Downs National Park area of the parish as defined by the Neighbourhood Area designated on 14 March 2013. The Boxgrove NDP can be viewed at the following locations:

| Referendum |
A referendum was held on the Boxgrove NDP on 06 May 2021. Further information on the referendum is available on the Chichester District Council website. There was a 42.2% turnout, with the following results:

| Decision Statement | Chichester District Council (CDC) agreed the Decision Statement for the Boxgrove NDP in July 2020. This sets out the modifications that were made to the Boxgrove NDP prior to referendum. |
| Independent Examination | Chichester District Council (CDC) appointed Mr Tony Burton as the Independent Examiner of the Boxgrove Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP). The Examiner published their final report in January 2020. |
| Regulation 16 – Submission Consultation | Chichester District Council (CDC) published the Submission Boxgrove Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for consultation between 27 April and 08 June 2018. The Submission Boxgrove NDP is available below and its evidence base and submission documents are available on the Chichester District Council website. |
| Regulation 14 – Pre-Submission Consultation | Boxgrove Parish Council (BPC) carried out a pre-submission consultation on the Draft Boxgrove Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) between 20 September and 01 November 2017. |
| Designated Neighbourhood Area | A consultation on an application to designate the Boxgrove Neighbourhood Area was caried out between 07 September and 19 October 2012. The SDNPA designated the part of the Boxgrove Neighbourhood Area that is within the National Park on 14 March 2013. |
