Shoreham Cement Works

The public consultation of the Shoreham Cement Works Area Action Plan closed on the 02 August 2022.

Over 200 organisations and individuals submitted more than 2800 comments. Many thanks to everyone who sent in comments.

The Authority has agreed to incorporate the Area Action Plan work into the South Downs Local Plan Review rather than progressing it as a separate document. This is because Area Action Plans are not proposed as part of the new planning system being brought in by central Government.
