Notice of Examination of the CIL Draft Charging Schedule

Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations 2010 (as amended) and the Planning Act 2008.
The South Downs National Park Authority hereby gives notice of the independent examination of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Draft Charging Schedule. The Draft Charging Schedule sets out the charges that the Authority proposes to apply to different types of new development in different locations in the National Park.
It was submitted to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on 9th February 2016. A Statement of Modifications to the CIL Draft Charging Schedule, Draft Regulation 123 List and the Infrastructure Delivery Plan were also submitted and published on the authority’s website. A copy of the Statement of Modifications has been sent to relevant consultation bodies under Regulation 19 of the CIL Regulations.
Nigel Payne BSC(HONS) DIPTP MRTPI MCMI has been appointed to undertake the independent examination.
As part of this a hearing will be held on Wednesday 11th May 2016, from 9.30 am to 5.00pm at the Memorial Hall, South Downs Centre, North Street, Midhurst, West Sussex, GU29 9DH
