New Horse Riding Leaflet
June 22, 2016
With 1200km of bridleways the South Downs National Park has some of the best horse riding in the South East. From a gentle trot along a country track to a longer hack up on top of the South Downs chalk ridge, there is something for everyone.
Working with the British Horse Society we have produced a new Horse Riding in the South Downs National Park leaflet which includes a map showing some key horse box parking sites in the National Park. Most of these sites give riders easy access to the beautiful South Downs Way – a 160km bridleway stretching from Winchester to Eastbourne. The leaflet also gives tips on responsible riding, details about the British Horse Society and links to websites with more information about riding schools in the South Downs.
