New edition of South Downs View
September 6, 2019
How nature can help you fight the winter blues, details of the 2020 Dark Skies Festival and top tips on where to find stunning heathlands are just a few of the highlights in the latest edition of South Downs View.
As the nights draw in and the temperatures begin to drop it can be tempting to curl up on the sofa, but the South Downs has so much to give during these colder months and South Downs View is here to inspire you to wrap up warm and get outside.
With a centre map showing some of the many attractions, nature reserves and viewpoints, as well as an event listing of shows, walks, talks and exhibitions taking place from September to March, there’s lots to get your sense of adventure tingling.
You’ll also find a map of the ten dark sky discovery sites, tips on how you can help protect your drinking water and some helpful hints for planning your bee-friendly garden for the spring. There’s also a competition to win a Columbia jacket worth £100!
To read about all of this and much more read it here or you can pick up a hard copy from the South Downs Centre in Midhurst or any visitor centre, attraction or accommodation provider who are stocking it.
If you are a business who would like to stock this publication or any of our other leaflets, see here for how you can order these for free.
