Youth Ambassadors
We know that young people are passionate about nature, climate and the environment.
Our Youth Ambassadors fulfil a crucial role of ensuring that young peoples’ voices are heard across the South Downs National Park, with our partners and wider networks. We are based all over the park and are here to represent young people’s views on a number of topics.
What are we currently working on?
- Listening to the views of young people that live, work or visit the National Park.
- Feeding youth voice into key strategic documents, both within the South Downs National Park and the national setting.
- Learning more about protected landscapes and their future roles within it.
- Supporting our communication team with reaching our to young people.
- Participating in youth led volunteering opportunities.
How do I communicate with Youth Ambassadors?
Youth Ambassadors attend 4 meetings a year (September, November, March and June). If you would like to talk to us before a meeting, please send a message to learning@southdowns.gov.uk and one of us will aims to get back to you.
