On this 6.5 mile walk we will travel back through 1000+ years of military history. We will be discovering the imprint of war upon the landscape of the Western Weald in a way that’s far more interesting than a school history lesson!
In our quiet corner of the world, it can be all too easy to feel isolated and safe from global conflict. However, scratch beneath the surface peace and tranquility and history reveals a very different picture.
Please be aware that there will be one short section along a busy road.
