Become a time-traveller this Easter! Have a go at ancient crafts, watch live demonstrations and reenactments, follow a free children’s trail, and more. With tons happening every day, enjoy an incredible day out for all ages at Butser. Explore over 10,000 years of human history, from the Stone Age to the Saxons, and see how normal people in the past would have lived and worked. Visit on a reenactment day to see our Roman villa or Saxon mead halls brought to life with a legion of Roman soldiers or a village of Saxon warriors and craftsfolk! With dogs welcome, Butser Ancient Farm is a perfect open-air day out for the whole family. Select days: See demonstrations like metalworking, leather crafts, cooking, weaving, and watch combat displays from the Romans or Saxons!
