Antarctic Explorers Home Educators Workshop

Antarctic Explorers Home Educators Workshop

02 December 2024

10 am to 2 pm

What is it like to be an Antarctic explorer?

Get in a tent, pull a sledge and try on some clothing in this interactive workshop!

Telling the story of Captain Scott’s ill-fated expedition to the South Pole in 1912, the session compares the equipment and food of 100 years ago to that of modern-day Antarctic explorers as well as discovering the creatures which survive in this hostile climate.
