OVCA Training and Events

Below is a list of free upcoming training events which are being run, or funded, by the OVCA Project.

To attend this training, you must reside in the OVCA Project area and be volunteering, working, or have a keen interest in tackling the climate and nature crisis.

See information next to each course for how to book.

  • 13 July – Peacehaven Climate Fair (The Big Park) Centenary Park, Piddinghoe Avenue, 11-15.00 -buses available, a car free event.
  • 17 July – Effective Community Engagement with Josh Levene 9.30-16.30 Denton Island, College Building Room 2. Email: ovca@southdowns.gov.uk
  • 19 July – Communication for Community Groups 10 -11.30 zoom. Join Zoom Meeting.
  • 20 July (27th back update) – Butterfly Identification and Survey Walks with Dr Dan Danahar in collaboration with Greenhavens Network. Castle Hill 10-12 & Centenary(Big) Park 13.30-15.30 to book your place email: Contact@greenhavens.network
