In The Slow Lane
05 January 2025
10.00 to 13.00
A 6.5 mile walk To the walker January is often synonymous with grey weather and mud.
The Froxfield plateau above Petersfield is a maze of tiny, rarely used lanes that are perfect for easy winter walking, however, few people ever venture into this warren. Up on the plateau it can feel like another world, with the weather often being other worldly too.
The hill can either be shrouded in low cloud/fog, or bathed in sunshine high above the clouds.
Join this exploration of this hidden backwater …….and hopefully return home with (relatively) clean boots. Optional drinks/light lunch afterwards at the nearby Pub With No Name.
The perfect tucked away pub for a walk through forgotten lanes. Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome.
