Walk of Art
24 July 2024
10.30 to 15.00
The annual Treve Art Festival is set in a traditional Sussex timber-framed cottage, working art studios and garden not far from Langham Brewery.
Each summer resident artists Sally and Euan, their artist friends and selected guests come together to exhibit, demonstrate their art and run workshops for visitors. You can meet and chat to the artists, watch them work, see inside the printmaking and painting studios and relax in the beautiful garden with a picnic or snacks bought from their Pop Up Cafe.
The cottage is set in an idyllic location but very much at the end of the line. So, rather than driving there, why not arrive on foot? It removes all the stress of navigating and driving down narrow lanes. An added bonus is that there is also the option of a quick beer at Langhams afterwards!
The walk is a circular route of approximately 2 miles each way. We’ll be walking through the beautiful woods of Upperton Common and fields alongside the River Lod. We will arrive at Treve shortly after they open at 11am and remain there until about 2pm before wending our way back to the brewery, where the Tap Room is open until 5.30pm on Wednesdays. At Treve you are free to go where your curiosity takes you.
