Learning Providers Learning Map
The South Downs Learning Map shows visitor destinations within the South Downs National Park. Any site that is listed on the South Downs LearningMap under ‘Schools’ will be deemed an eligible destination / provider for our Grants for Schools and Colleges.
Can my organisation be added to the map?
To be included on the map, your organisation must:
- either be located within the South Downs National Park area, OR deliver activities within the South Downs National Park*
- deliver activities for schools that:
a) connect pupils and staff with the special qualities of the National Park
b) through outdoor, nature-based and real-world learning experiences)
c) support curriculum-linked and/or health and wellbeing outcomes for pupils
*There may be some exception to this, for example, where a site is just outside the National Park on a river that flows through the National Park AND delivers activities closely linked with the special qualities of the National Park.
If you are unsure if you meet the criteria, please contact the Learning Team by emailing learning@southdowns.gov.uk.
If you are a provider who does not meet the criteria to be included on the map, you will still form part of the wider South Downs Learning Network and we will continue to work with you through our partnership projects and collaborations.
