Discover the Heathlands guided walk – ReNature Festival

Join the guided walk from Haslemere train station to Liphook Station along the Rail to Ramble route.

During this 5 mile walk, explore Marley, Linchmere and Stanley commons. Discover more about heathlands, a habitat rarer than rainforest and keep a look out for some of the rare and protected species that call our heaths home. You will follow both the Serpent Trail and Sussex boarder paths with Olivia stopping for breaks and to admire the scenery regularly before finishing the walk at Liphook Station.

Distance: This is a linear walk of approximately 5 miles (8km)- approx. 3 hours

Gradient: Some short steep climbs and one steep descent. Paths are a mixture of uneven sandy tracks, sturdy footwear advised. Please wear suitable clothing and bring refreshments and sunscreen.
