Upper Beeding Neighbourhood Plan
Upper Beeding Parish Council (UBPC) has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for Upper Beeding. Further details are available on the Upper Beeding Parish Council website.

| Plan “Made” (Adopted) | The Upper Beeding NDP – i.e., the Submission Plan incorporating the Examiner’s modifications and all other modifications as per the Decision Statement – complies with the legal requirements and basic conditions set out in the Localism Act 2011 and, as a result on the SDNPA resolution on 10 June 2021, has been made.
The Upper Beeding NDP is part of the Development Plan for the South Downs National Park area of the parish as defined by the Neighbourhood Area designated on 12 December 2013. The Upper Beeding NDP can be viewed at the following locations:

| Referendum |
A referendum was held on the Upper Beeding NDP on 06 May 2021. Further information on the referendum is available on the Horsham District Council website. There was a 39.31% turnout, with the following results:

| Decision Statement | Horsham District Council (HDC) agreed the Decision Statement for the Upper Beeding NDP in January 2020. This sets out the modifications that were made to the Woodmancote NDP prior to referendum. |
| Independent Examination | Horsham District Council (HDC) appointed Mr Andrew Ashcroft as the Independent Examiner of the Upper Beeding Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP). The Examiner published their final report in December 2019. |
| Regulation 16 – Submission Consultation | Horsham District Council (HDC) published the Submission Upper Beeding Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for consultation between 15 February and 05 April 2019. The Submission Upper Beeding NDP is available below and its evidence base and submission documents are available on the Horsham District Council website.

| Regulation 14 – Pre-Submission Consultation | Upper Beeding Parish Council (UBPC) carried out a pre-submission consultation on the Draft Upper Beeding Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) between 25 June and 13 August 2018. |
| Designated Neighbourhood Area | A consultation on an application to designate the Upper Beeding Neighbourhood Area was carried out between 09 September and 21 October 2013. The SDNPA designated the part of the Upper Beeding Neighbourhood Area that is within the National Park on 12 December 2013. |
