Steyning, Wiston, Ashurst, and Bramber Neighbourhood Plan

Steyning, Wiston, Ashurst, and Bramber Neighbourhood Plan

Steyning, Wiston, Ashurst and Bramber Parish Councils (collectively known as SWAB) initially applied to designate a Neighbourhood Area which covered all their parishes.  However, this Neighbourhood Area has since been withdrawn.

The following stages and documents have been completed.

Statutory stage Background information & documents
Withdrawal The Neighbourhood Planning cluster of Steyning, Wiston, Ashurst, and Bramber Parishes (collectively known as SWAB) agreed in principle to ‘de-cluster’ and withdraw from the Designated Neighbourhood Area. The parish councils have issued individual withdrawal statements to this effect and further information is available on their individual websites.
Designated Neighbourhood Area A consultation on an application to designate the Steyning, Wiston, Ashurst and Bramber Neighbourhood Area was carried out between 26 June and 07 August 2013.  The SDNPA designated the part of the Steyning, Ashurst, Bramber and Wiston Neighbourhood Area that is within the National Park on 17 September 2014.
