Henfield Neighbourhood Plan
Henfield Parish Council (HPC) has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for Henfield. Further details are available on the Henfield Parish Council website.

NDP 2 – Henfield NDP (Made) | The Henfield NDP – i.e., the Submission Plan incorporating the Examiner’s modifications and all other modifications as per the Decision Statement – complies with the legal requirements and basic conditions set out in the Localism Act 2011 and, as a result on the SDNPA resolution on 10 June 2021, has been made.
The Henfield NDP is part of the Development Plan for the South Downs National Park area of the parish as defined by the Neighbourhood Area designated on 10 December 2013. The Henfield NDP can be viewed at the following locations:

NDP 1 – Henfield NDP (Quashed)

Horsham District Council (HDC) “made” the Henfield NDP in Spring 2016. However, the case for a judicial review of the Henfield NDP was heard in the High Court on 04 October 2016. The judgement to quash the NDP was delivered on 13 October 2016. Prior to the High Court judgement, the following stages had been completed:

Designated Neighbourhood Area | A consultation on an application to designate the Henfield Neighbourhood Area was carried out between 09 September and 21 October 2013. The SDNPA designated the part of the Henfield Neighbourhood Area that is within the National Park on 10 December 2013. |
