Albourne Neighbourhood Plan
Albourne Parish Council (APC) has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for Albourne. Further details are available on the Albourne Parish Council website.

| Plan “Made” (Adopted) | The Albourne NDP – i.e., the Submission Plan incorporating the Examiner’s modifications and all other modifications as per the Decision Statement – complies with the legal requirements and basic conditions set out in the Localism Act 2011 and, as a result on the SDNPA resolution on 13 October 2016, has been made.
The Albourne NDP is part of the Development Plan for the South Downs National Park area of the parish as defined by the Neighbourhood Area designated on 13 September 2012. The Albourne NDP can be viewed at the following locations:

| Referendum |
A referendum was held on the Albourne NDP on 01 September 2016. Further information on the referendum is available on the Mid Sussex District Council website. There was a 43.4% turnout, with the following results:

| Decision Statement | Mid Sussex District Council (MSDC) agreed the Decision Statement for the Albourne NDP on 13 July 2016. This sets out the modifications that were made to the Albourne NDP prior to referendum. |
| Independent Examination | Mid Sussex District Council (MSDC) appointed Ms Clare Wright as the Independent Examiner of the Albourne Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP). The Examiner published their final report in April 2016.

| Regulation 16 – Submission Consultation | Mid Sussex District Council (MSDC) published the Submission Albourne Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for consultation between 26 November and 07 January 2016. The Submission Albourne NDP, its evidence base, and its submission documents are available on the Mid Sussex District Council website. |
| Regulation 14 – Pre-Submission Consultation | Albourne Parish Council (APC) carried out a pre-submission consultation on the Draft Albourne Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) between 13 October and 24 November 2014. |
| Designated Neighbourhood Area | A consultation on an application to designate the Albourne Neighbourhood Area was carried out between 19 July and 30 August 2012. The SDNPA designated the part of the Albourne Neighbourhood Area that is within the National Park on 13 September 2012. |
