Clapham Neighbourhood Plan
Clapham Parish Council (CPC) has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for Clapham. Further details are available on the Clapham Parish Council website.

| Plan “Made” (Adoption) | The Clapham NDP – i.e., the Submission Plan incorporating the Examiner’s modifications and all other modifications as per the Decision Statement – complies with the legal requirements and basic conditions set out in the Localism Act 2011 and, as a result of the SDNPA Planning Committee resolution on 12 May 2016, has been made.
The Clapham NDP is part of the Development Plan for the parish as defined by the Neighbourhood Area designated on 13 November 2014. The Clapham NDP can be viewed at the following locations:

| Referendum |
A referendum was held on the Clapham NDP on 24 March 2016. Further information on the referendum is available on the Arun District Council website. There was a 52.7% turnout, with the following results:

| Decision Statement | The SDNPA agreed the Decision Statement for the Clapham NDP on 21 January 2016. This sets out the modifications that were made to the Clapham NDP prior to referendum. |
| Independent Examination | The SDNPA appointed Mr John Slater MRTPI as Independent Examiner of the Clapham Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP). The Examiner issued their final report in December 2015.

| Regulation 16 – Submission consultation |
The SDNPA received the Submission Clapham Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) on 04 August 2015. The SDNPA later published the Submission Clapham NDP for consultation between 21 August and 02 October 2015. The Submission Clapham NDP is available below. | Regulation 14 – Pre-submission consultation |
Clapham Parish Council (CPC) carried out a pre-submission consultation on the Draft Clapham Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) between 21 May and 02 July 2015.

| Designated Neighbourhood Area | A consultation on an application to designate the Clapham Neighbourhood Area was carried out between 03 September and 15 October 2014. The SDNPA designated the Clapham Neighbourhood Area on 13 November 2014. |
