South Downs Youth Action
We know that young people are passionate about nature, climate and the environment.
South Downs Youth Action gives young people aged 16-25 opportunities to gain new skills, meet people in the conservation sector and take positive action for this precious landscape.
How to get involved
Events take place throughout the year across the National Park.
Each event is led by our ranger teams or partners and includes practical tasks as well as learning opportunities in wildlife conservation, landscape management and environmental campaigning.
You can sign up to one or more of these events on our Eventbrite page.
We will pay back all reasonable public transport and lunch expenses for your volunteering session.
The best way to stay up to date with all upcoming opportunities is to sign up to our mailing list.
Other ways to get involved
For over 18s, see our regular volunteering opportunities.
We have a range of work experience opportunities covering all aspects of the South Downs National Park Authority. To find out more, see our work experience pages.
Subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and encourage your friends to do the same.
We hope to see you out there soon in the South Downs.
